I had a quote/question hanging in my home studio. It said: What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?
Cleaned off my mammoth inspiration board. Took down all 500 inspiration photos & left the 10 that spoke to me. A few words that said: worthwhile.
I took down that quote – rewrote it. And immediately wanted to answer it: Nothing. If there wasn’t the friction and pressure of failure, I wouldn’t try.
That’s life. I’m in a practice of reaching out and sitting vulnerably right now. I’m in a practice of sitting still and being quiet. Trusting the damn process. Most days.
