We had a grand time at the Tango Tangerine Ball Fashion Show last week.
This photo by James Warrick is of me + my lovely model pals waiting in line for them to walk the cat:
My pal Wesley Duffee-Braun and his lovely wife Eryn were in attendance snapping photos of brilliance. They have graciously agreed to let me share their pictures here. To learn more about Wesley visit his website: Wesley Photography
I’m honored to be included among the artists for Wesley’s upcoming Inspired Series. It’s a wonderful project about the process of creation. I had such a blast sitting for him this week!
& Now – the photographs:
First up Ms. Kathryn Hamilton in The Blood Orange Dress. Cotton/Metallic fabric origami pleating w/ Crinkled Silk Godets:
Next The Desert Rose Dress – Destiny Hulsey modeling. This french silk dyed dress is hand beaded, with tiny apricot buttons and a apricot silk godet peaking out from the front slit. Gathered into a rosette in the back. The fabric has a slight train:
Marlowe Payne in The Raspberry Dress: Silk Georgette, frayed halter neck, beaded ribbons tie across the back and trail down the gathered back:
Jackie Franquez in the Tangelo Dress: This halter neck style dress has a subtle wrap front that snaps into place. The hand dyed mottled silk accents peek out front the center front and side of this sheer crinkled silk piece. Fully lined in silk habotai with a gathered back that has just a wee bit of train. Mottled silk waistband adds extra shape:
Morgan Purdy in the Pease Blossom Dress and Overlay. The overlay is silk chiffon. Cutouts allow the shoulders to peek through while the fabric is gathered at the wrists creating a billowing effect. Closed at the neck with shimmering ribbons. The bias cut silk gown is hand stamped with gold stars and hand cut beaded petals. The front has a draped side that flows from the halter neck of this gown. The train is buttoned up and the dress closes with hand looped vintage mother of pearl buttons:

Thank you again for the lovely photos Wesley!
Stunning! I am so sorry I was out of town for the show – I would have loved to have been there to photograph and covet those gorgeous gowns!
These are AMAZING. They are just delicious, and I wish I could wear them all! And that Mr. Wesley is a talented fella. I wish I could have seen this! I hope you are so, so, so proud. I’m proud to know you. 😉
