Tis the season

I love the holiday season. I love Christmas, Hanukkah and Yule. I like the myths and the truths and the spirit of sanctity and I love the magic.

I love cheesy holiday movies and fruitcake – hey – you have not tried my Nana’s fruitcake – you’d be a believer too.

I still absolutely believe in Santa. There are  bijillion of gift guides out there – so instead – I’m sharing my wishlist.  And I go all out – because sometimes they come true:

1. A reindeer.

2. fairy booties or elven boots:

3.A thorough lesson on matte glazes.

4.And nimble hands on the pottery wheel.

5. A Christmas day snow – complete with sledding, hot cocoa and a warm fire.

6. A leather log sling – so practical. So necessary! (and so exciting to finally be warm!)
