I’ve been dragging my feet this Friday.
I’m stressed, overwhelmed, overworked, and overly-needed.
I’ve missed summer this year. I blew right by it. Working so hard. Not watering my garden once, except for the pumpkins and a couple of potted nasturtiums.
There is the smell of change in the air around me. Things I’ve never considered, I’m considering. Or things I’ve brushed off, are making my acquaintance.

But it’s Friday, and it’s good for me to remember to be grateful:
For the basics: enough to eat, shelter, & clothing on my back.
For love, can’t get by without it.
For talent. I’m surrounded by talented people.
For ingenuity, especially when dresses don’t work.
Dresses that work 99% of the time.
For a dog that is a loyal lion.
For Vino Verde.
For a simple life.
And last – but by far, not the least, for a meditation and relaxation podcast of a man with a Scottish accent. Bless him, his voice is the antidote to my insomnia.
Have a good weekend friends.
that photo is perfect. may the coming week bring some deep breaths. and something joyful. and possibly a massage. xo
