This Friday I’m grateful for wealth.
The type you don’t see when you’re looking at your bank account.
The type of wealth that flows over onto your table in the currency of flowers and children and magical moments of spontaneous dance parties and babies that fall asleep in your arms.
My other gratitudes:
Moments of sweetheart irritation.
Which leads me to: Midwesterners. I’m so grateful for midwesterners. If there weren’t midwesterners I would freeze alone without a properly stocked pantry in the dead of winter – and I’d forget about the clothes I put in the wash 3 months ago.
A bit of a chilly spell in the beginning of May. I’m not quite ready for wilting season.
A moment of vacation just beyond the bend.
Happy Friday. Don’t forget about your Momma.
p.s. I have been inundated with spam comments recently and accidentally deleted a few of your precious words to me – please forgive me and know that it was not on purpose – I’d get ’em back if I could!
