Warm days throughout the whole of February. Which I’m sure we wouldn’t be having if it weren’t for our brand new woodstove.
For firelit nights and warm toesies.
And for the much needed rains falling softly on daffodil and grape hyacinth sprouts.
For the return of some of my anemones and for the hope that the others may make it still.
For learning to take my time on pieces I’m creating. Such a long coming lesson.
For a warm studio.
For opening the closet and seeing that most everything there has been made by me or another loved one.
For the evening light lingering just long enough to get a good run in.
For turning around twice to make sure – yes, this is my life.
For a damn fine secret – here I’ll share: Hard work really does pay off.
Today – I’m stopping to smell the freshly showered dirt. It’s almost Spring. And I’m ready.
This makes me so happy.
Woodstove is a goodstove.
sad you’re missing it.
I’m really enjoying your gratitude posts, they make me feel calm and reflective.
thank you Hila.
