Sisters playing cards. Lazy dogs and shade from a hot summer day. Bare feet on soft soil. Bracelets that make tinkling sounds on sunkissed skin. The kind of top meant to be lived in and washed in a creek bed. Soft and comfortable like summer in the forest.
The Jack of Spades Top: Soft organic cotton, soy and bamboo jersey in shades of blossom and pebble. Pleated at the shoulders has a loose silhoutte that is gathered to the body by removable vintage lingerie cream stretch ribbon (blossom) or a maple colored thick satin ribbon with snaps (pebble). Can also be gathered with a skinny belt or hang loose. Deep narrow V neck.
The Virginia Waltz Skirt was made for summer dances. For a walk on the beach to find shells at sunset. Or a romp through wildflower fields or late summer corn mazes. It’s a bit cheeky. The kind of piece a younger sister would steal to see what she looks like – grown up and envied. Wear it well into fall with a light wool cardigan and wool stockings.
Made from bronze hemp and silk blend, this skirt is gathered to the side to give the perfect amount of swing and swish. With a small slit to one side to give plenty of room for wide strides. It closes with a metal zipper. Shown here with the Jack of Spades Pebble Top and skinny leather belt.

Absolutely stunning! See, and I was hoping for the sake of my own designs at becoming more of a saver that I wouldn’t find anything that I positively couldn’t live without this season. Naturally, you would make something bronze. 🙂 Can’t wait for the line to go up in your shop!
The sake of your own designs? Do explain!
yeah, I think this one might be my favorite. I mean, I reserve the right to have other favorites. but this one is perfect. also the card whisper photo is perfect too.
I have lofty designs (in the “plans” sense of the word) at becoming a spendthrift someday. The day is obviously not upon me yet.
My only other designs lie in the occasional new hat – I’ve possibly perfected the perfect semi-beret though! I’ll have to test out my new pattern and send you one to see what you think. Any color preferences?
Ohho! I like that “idea” but I’m afraid I like things way too much. Fine things at that! Oh – I need a semi-beret! Hum – grey or merlot?
These photos (and the beautiful clothes they are of) are absolutely lovely, and they make me want to just LIVE in them. Congrats on a beautiful spring/summer line.
Thank you – that means so much to me.
