It’s getting a wee bit lighter every day, have you noticed? And whilst the ground is covered with white powder, tendrils of spring are slowly stretching and starting to think about March -because she’s on her way.
I didn’t cover my roses in the garden the way I should’ve. And sooner than later, we’ll see how they faired.
I’m starting to wonder if my helebores are gossiping somewhere under the snow and just how many industrious voles, moles and squirrels have eaten my bulbs.
It seems so silly to me that soon boutiques will start traipsing out fine voiles and silks and summer camisoles. I think in fact we could use more layers and thin wool socks.
Maybe soon a trench for the bone cold rains.
So enjoy the wee sample sale going on in our little online shop

this subtle dance never ceases to amaze me.
like a slow and determined tide turning in my heart,
I see you winter and I raise you snow drops and narcissus. Groundhogs and temperamental winds.
oh that is such a cute picture – and flask!
why thank you! It was soo cold during that shoot! More “behind the scenes” type of pictures can be found under the category f/w10. We did a little story series on the journal for this line. It was a ton of fun!
