I’m always bouncing between my favorites when it comes to interior design. I love a moody charcoal and grey room. I love a room full of farmhouse color. I like a theme of some sort and I love love love all cream and white. I’ve been demolishing magazines since I was seven full of rooms and rooms of white. And sometimes I crouch in a thought like a toad for – oh – say, around 20 years. I could never live in a totally white house. My sweetie and my dog – wouldn’t allow it. If I introduce an ounce of modern design (which I loooove) they start to pace and hammer rusted old nails into things.
But I think I’m ready. I think my sad living room, breathing in and out my umm, huh, well, tsk sounds – is about to get it’s outfit on. I’m going for it. On my mission. I will find the perfect cream fabric for winter drapes. I will use so many yards of muslin for the spring and I will have my totally off white Scandinavian room. We will all wear our platinum hair in a tousled style or long braids and drink out of pewter goblets and creamy Moravian mugs. We will have perfect oatmeal wool socks on in the winter and barely there white cotton shifts in the summer. White butterflies will flit around naturally. You get the picture. Oh yes. It will be good. Don’t come over without your bleach pen.
Heh. The mugs made me laugh.
good thing your vacuum matches. god help us. it will be beautiful- i know.
of course. I’ve been planning this for a long long while…. muahaha!
