I may have depth, compassion and responsibility of conscious, but finding dozens of moth larvae in and eating off of my carefully and expensively curated wardrobe – devastating. I went to war.
This past summer was the perfect cocktail of weather for dust mite breading, mold, and moth infestations. I will admit, my spirit animal of Buffalo-in-china-shop may have reared it’s angry head. I was trying to remain calm and carry on and all those other time honored british phrases, but every so often as I looked up from picking off the squirming larvae I would say in my most Scarlett O’Hara turnip to heaven voice, “I mean I am a fashion-designer!”
I bleached the entire inside of my 1800s Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe -Wardrobe and I am ready for them: Cedar things have been sanded. Clothing has been washed and dried.
All moths and moth-children, take this as your formal warning. No prisoners will be left alive.
