It’s one of my most favorite southern sayings. I say it all the time. Is there a better thing to be able to say to a stranger, your momma or your boss? Nope.
This week I’ve learned so much and have so much to appreciate y’all over. Gratiudes:
Hair – only those folks who have cut all their hair pixie short and then tried to re-grow it will understand -and I have hair!
Painted studios and painting helpers
Speaking of studios – Unabashed apparel’s was featured on the indie.pendent‘s blog yesterday – see it and read about it here. I’m loving that the pictures are before the great studio overhaul of 2010. Maybe I’ll have to give you an update here on the journal after…
an article comes out in Sophie Magazine about Unabashed apparel!
Yep, a week to be appreciative of most everything.
Also – Unabashed apparel has held steady as #2 in WNC’s Best Fashion designer for the 3 years it’s had the category – so thank you to one and all for that. Brooke Priddy has held the #1 spot for three years and it’s an honor to be among the ranks of gals like that. Visit her website here.
And I’ll end all the appreciativeness with an explanation of the top picture. It’s the inside workings of my most favorite building ever. An old white print shop with windows that go on for miles. The whole building isn’t as big as a minute. And inside there are things that are solid. That typed word through sweat and purpose. While I love my Mac, I have to say that like in most things, I appreciate the simple purposed life we left behind in our industry. I’m most appreciative to be creating things that hold purpose, with my hands and heart. I’m grateful for the necessary.
