Maybe you’ve noticed, maybe not, but I’m starting to snap a couple of studio pictures. In preparation for a wonderful interview I decided to change some things that had been making me twitch about my workspace. I had a barrel of help from fabulous friends. There are still some things to do, but it’s coming along. If only I had a picture of the original space. No floor, no ceiling, no walls or insulation. Nothing. Bare bare bones and a twitch. This could be the magical space where dreams are born. I’m not sure I’ll ever have a studio outside my property. Even in my huge white farmhouse dreams. My studio is in the hayloft. Skylights and big doors rolled back. Huge maple tree limbs framing the view.
But to be honest. I fit here. In my current life. In my current space. In my magical Pumpkin Hill Farmhouse. Contentment resides. And as a katydid I know likes to say, Contentment is highly underrated.
Gorgeous! I so desperately need to get back for a visit soon… and I think I may desperately need the September dress as well 🙂
PS – Contentment is also the one that most reminds me of you, but the way. And I hear she just went on a housecleaning spree as well – did you reference that intentionally, or has Ruth J. Gendler managed to work her way into our subconsciouses by now?!
