thanksgiving: apple pressing and wool blankets. children laughing. the last of brown leaves falling. faithful evergreens. compasses, old wind up watches that get it right – mostly. faithful companions. mud caked sturdy boots. whiskey. camping. stories around a fire. and I’m thankful for my people and the others I’ve lost along the way.
I hope you’re somewhere warm with fresh baked bread and tons of kinship gathering around a table. I’ll write again soon.
