Grateful for the 4th of July. I like the sound of it, the number, the heat, the watermelon, sparklers and red, white and blue.
I’m proud that you can’t point out what an “American” looks like – glad that we’re a country of mutts. Glad my granddaddy says I came from “the soil and the clay” of Blues Creek – because he really didn’t know “where our people are from”. I love a good debate, love it when people can actually change my mind and and so thankful that we are free and capable of having a good discussion without fear of a difference of opinion.
