I work on Saturdays – actually, I work everyday. Saturday night is the one moment of quasi freedom I allow myself. My household would love it if I extended that moment of abandon to Sunday morning hikes. Maybe one day when I get everything a little more managed. This is the life of a small time fashion designer. So friday isn’t really friday – for me.

But I love folks friday attitudes, I love the smiles and the energy and how everyone can see round the corner to freedom. It’s fabulous.

This friday – I’m grateful for:

Tauruses – should I say Tauri? Those 2 mins of latin have ruined me forever. Back to Taurus – the bull of the zodiac. I haven’t met one I don’t like. So for all those folks born in this month including my wee brother, I’m grateful. And it’s true – stubborn as bulls, but loyal and surefooted too.

While it’s too early to tell, it’s looking like we may have won against the tank-beetle. That’s not the real name, but no one knows what it is – and it annihilates the gardens. With Fervor In May. And I have seen nary a one. Whoohoo!
