I think it’s calling us to the river for a photoshoot. I’ve thought and thought about the beauty of Old Salem – but now I’m thinking that it’s not quite time. We’re not yet there. This line has a different song.
I ran through all the woods I ever grew up around and I’ll admit -my favorites have always had flowing water and an expanse of green. I’m seeing fishing rods and sandy feet, campfires and sun kissed cheeks – and maybe a desert dog -I’ve got one around here somewhere – hates the grass but loves the sand.
Sapona River. I bet when that’s what it was called – it wasn’t muddy like the Yadkin.
