Funny that a line that I’m going to design fully after my heart’s desire – would be in the spring. I’m such a girl of the fall – the maple trees and honey sap – turquoise skies and the season’s first wood smoke that still smells green.
But this Spring is for me. Full of greys and dusty blues, a sass of lobelia and muddy brown. I am determined to capture that honey color that can be so allusive – because it’s transparent and full of secrets. And when you think that it’s all tranquil and soothing – there will be a bright hint of laughter in a color that just clops up to my studio and presents itself in a fat saucy robin type of way.
We drive to the Catskills next friday for our annual trip. Honestly, it’s the one time of year that I drive too much – stay awake too long and leave completely restored….
